Dev projects

Identify blast-beats in songs using spectral analysis.

The idea was born at an Ulcerate concert in Barcelona, and later fleshed out during a summer retreat with @m-poh & @lmeullibre in the beautiful island of Saaremaa, Estonia 🇪🇪.

The project was presented in the 6th meetup of the Python Leiden user group![slides here]

I like this topic so much that I made a game about it.

It's a simulation game where your goal is to maximize profit & lifespan of your machine, with sensors & predictive analytics at your disposal.

Under the hood it uses MQTT for data streaming and a scikit-learn Support Vector Regression (SVR) model for remaining-useful-lifetime prediction.

FastAPI Svelte

A Svelte app with in-browser QR code generation + interaction through a smartphone (using MQTT over websockets).

This one was fun. It started as a React app, but then we migrated it to Svelte over some beers in Warsaw 🇵🇱, where we met up with @m-poh & @lmeullibre to attend a Dying Fetus show.

Needless to say, we all walked out evangelized into Svelte from that trip.
